The series tells the story of a six-year-old girl's new life in contemporary China after her parents move from the city to the countryside. The protagonist Tiantian meets new kids in the village, and she gradually becomes cheerful and kind. She also learns how to take care of small animals and how to be responsible. Guided by her parents, she gradually grows up to be a wise, capable and assertive girl.
