“The Shining One” is a Chinese reality show that evaluates the young interns’ 
financial competence. Nine interns compete for only three offers!
In Season 2, nine interns are brought to an investment bank. There will be rich and multi-dimensional assessment topics for the interns. They will survive in the high-pressure workplace, and show their competence during the assessments. 
Only three of them will get the final offer.These top interns will participate in teams in the daily work of investment banks, 
such as industry research, due diligence, issuance pricing … Phase one will be elimination assessment - one intern from the bottom ranked team will be eliminated. In phase two, the remaining eight interns will be divided into two teams which are led by tutors and will be given two assessment topics. Mentors will choose two interns from the winning team in each assessment, and an intern according to his/her performance in the whole internship. 
The show also invites some celebrities with insider's knowledge of finance as “observation team members” . They will analyze the performance of the interns in investment banking, talk about workplace issues, and provide viewers with practical workplace advice. In addition, they will predict the final assessment results and, if accurate, one intern will be given an additional offer.
